A brief history of Balrath GBFC: 

in 2010, after identifying the lack of opportunity for young boys and girls to play Soccer in our area, 

Balrath GB F.C.s first underage under 8 team was formed on the 7th July 2010 and entered the NDSL. Our underage 4 to 7 year old
girls and boys weekly Academy also began. 

Fast forward to the present 2025 season where we now have 26 teams playing each week. We have over 300 Boys and 200 girls
aged from 4‐19 years.  and Senior Womens Team! 

We have 26 teams completing in the NDSL, Louth School Girls League, NEFL & LFL
And our pride & joy The Football for All Team !

Balrath GBFC are more than just a club, No trials, no grading, just fun, Football for all,
trophies for all, selections boxes, Easter eggs, Jaffa cakes, carrot cakes, banana bread,
fresh fruit, homemade soup, soda bread, crested buns, halftime treats, Halloween /
Christmas parties, goodies bags, walks in the woods, Barbecues, trips away, Ireland
games, adventures, players of the month, cinema, go-karting, hell and back! is where the club history goes
